Marina overhaul could create 200 jobs

Redevelopment of a Welsh marina could create up to 200 jobs in a museum, a hotel and a business centre, according to a report.
A business has unveiled the plans for the Gwymedd marina which has "a new vision for the development of the town's inner harbour".
The jobs will be created in the marina itself and in the wider community if the plans are approved.
Mike Parry from the Pwlheli Town Marina group said: "This development will bring into the local economy around £24m from the marine sector alone."
The proposal includes a hotel, a heritage centre, more berths, a boatyard and a business centre; they also include affordable housing.
The council, which owns the land, will decide on the plans which will include environmental and language reports.
Plans to create 300 extra berths in the marina, submitted three years ago were dismissed by local councillors.
A law placed on the site in 1983 bans any building of homes or shops unrelated to harbour activity, reports the Daily Post.
