Electronics firm creates jobs

Developments in the computer software industry are expected to lead to around 2,000 jobs by 2010, it has emerged.
Employee numbers are expected to rise from 3,400 to 5,000, according to Interactive Tayside research reported by the BBC.
Some 350 digital media companies operate in Tayside and generate a combined annual turnover above £100 million, the company states.
Furthermore, software firms have forecasted boosts in turnover of between ten and 50 per cent.
Joyce Matthew, manager of Scottish Enterprise Tayside, told the news source that industry growth has been buoyed by ambitious companies seeking to recruit new talent.
Two universities and three education colleges in the Tayside area currently carry out research on digital media related subjects, according to the company's website.
Dundee-based Realtime Worlds is reported to have enjoyed a strong relationship with local universities as part of its wider growth strategy.
"Scottish Enterprise and the local council fully appreciate what the digital media industries are doing for the city and actively help and encourage them," he said.
