New jobs in Bridgend

Dunelm Mill is set to create 80 new jobs when it opens a new store in Bridgend, South Wales.
According to the Western Mail, the home furnishings firm is leasing a 40,000 square feet superstore at the Waterton Cross Retail Park.
A company spokeswoman said that the company is "very pleased" to have agreed the deal with Dovey Estates – the firm behind the retail park development.
"The South Wales market offers us significant expansion opportunities and in return we will create a significant number of job and career opportunities," she remarked.
Mike Baroth, chief executive of Dovey Estates, told the newspaper that the retail park will be a "significant new addition" to the existing retail goods park in the area.
Dunelm was founded 25 years ago in Leicester and has grown to its present size from two high street units in the east Midlands.
The company now boasts 80 stores across the country.
