A number of large retail chains have signed up for a new shopping scheme in Bradford.
Developers Westfield plan to build a 581,200 sq ft of retail space and 40,000 sq ft of offices as part of its £320 million scheme.
Property Week reports that retailers including Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, Next, Topshop and Miss Selfridge have all signed up to the development.
Overall there will be more than 100 shops, an 800-seat food court and a car park with over 1,750 spaces.
Rob Templeman, chief executive of Debenhams, who will have a 117,327 sq ft store, told the website: "Bradford also has got no department store and thats one of the major reasons why Debenhams wants to go to Bradford."
Work recently stopped on the construction of two 55-storey towers in Leeds.
Developer K W Linloot delayed the project, which includes retail space at the base of one tower, so a new funding structure can be established, reports homemove.co.uk.
