A grant of more than £1 million will help to create 39 new jobs at an electronics firm.
The company, called Plexus, is based in the Scottish Borders and has received the second largest award in the last quarter of 2007 from the regional selective assistance scheme, reports the BBC.
The company currently has more than 300 staff at the Pinnaclehill site and has another plant in Livingston, West Lothian.
Willie MacKinnon, UK managing director at Plexus, told the news organisation: "We are delighted to accept the grant from Scottish Enterprise, which gives us the potential to expand the Kelso facility further, as and when our business demands it."
The company has received a similar government grant of £1 million previously, in 2000.
The grants have been awarded to 22 businesses in Scotland, with more than £16.2 million going to the companies, according to the BBC.
Plexus is an international company with 17 bases around the world, in locations like Mexico, Singapore, China and America.
