Eversheds offers recruitment bounty
22/02/2007(12:38)

Eversheds law firm is offering a bounty to any employee who successfully refers a new solicitor to work at its London office, it has been reported.

Some 10,000 will be offered to those who refer a recruit at the level of solicitor, while 5,000 will be given for referring a business service provider and 3,000 for driving the recruitment of a legal secretary or administrative member of staff.

According to Personnel Today, the bounty will be paid into the first salary provided after the new employee joins the firm.

Lisa Campbell, resourcing manager at Eversheds, said: "We wanted employees to know we're committed to our growth and to our people, regardless of whether they are a secretary or a solicitor."

She added that one of the most important aspects of recruitment is a "good culture fit" and that this could be ensured through the referral programme.

Meanwhile, UK lawyers have welcomed the amendments to the Aim (accuracy in media) rules, which include the publication of a new rulebook for nominated advisers, the Lawyer has reported.
