The latest proposal for Anglesey's new business, leisure and retails park would create 3,500 new jobs.
So far three bids have been submitted, placing pressure on council chiefs to decide the best one for the area, reports the Daily Post.
The first set of plans by St Malo involves creating a prestige office park with 700,000 sq ft of space, with Glyn Pritchard Jones, speaking on behalf of the company, adding it could result in "potentially employing in excess of 3,500 people".
A previous bid by Ynys Mon Estates for a site in Llanfairpwll only includes plans for 1,300 jobs, said the newspaper.
The third set of plans proposes 1,000 extra positions will be created on its site in Holyhead.
Albert Owen, MP for the island, told the newspaper: "I do not believe there is room for three purely retail parks on the island but I do want to see a development that mixes all three sectors retail, business and leisure together."
Separately on the island 40 new jobs are being created as a geosciences company expands its presence.
