Over forty per cent of workers are considering quitting

More than four in ten workers in the UK, in jobs like office and admin, are considering quitting their job, according to new research.
A survey by YouGov, for Investors in People, has found that people being unmotivated is a major problem, with a lack of a career path and feeling underpaid being cited as other reasons why workers wanted to move on.
Motivation was lowest among public sector workers, the report found.
Results also found that employees who had been with the organisation for one to two years were most likely to leave.
"This research reveals a worrying picture, not only because such a significant proportion of UK employees are de-motivated, but because it suggests that valuable employees may be heading for the door," said Mr Jones, the chief executive of Investors in People.
He added that staff need support and "effective" feedback on their performance.
In related news, it was recently found that more job seekers are looking for a job online, rather than using the post.
