Ramada boosts Belfast staff

A new £10 million hotel expansion is set to bring some 60 jobs to Belfast.
The BBC reports that the region's Ramada hotel is receiving massive investment and boosting its 117-strong staff force.
With the cash, the hotel will see a number of improvements including 90 new guest rooms, a bar, a restaurant and a health and fitness complex.
Speaking to the news provider, Lord Rana, who owns the Ramada chain, said that growth in tourism in the region has led to the development, noting: "Tourism guests have been growing strongly over recent years and we are seeing visitors from many parts of the world including the US, India, parts of Europe and also from Japan."
He attributed this growth in part to increased political stability.
This follows news that some 50 jobs will be created in Crewe following the arrival of a new Ramada Encore in the region's Crewe Business Park in October.
The Crewe and Nantwich Guardian reports that this will be the second Ramada facility in the town.
