A firm has announced it is set to create dozens of new jobs in two offices, it has been reported.
Software company Singularity's multi-million pound expansion will create more than 60 jobs in Londonderry and Belfast, according to BBC News.
Enterprise minister Arlene Foster made the announcement - which detailed 43 jobs will be generated in Derry and 19 in Belfast - describing the £3.5 million investment as "significant".
"This brings many benefits including high quality jobs, new product development with associated intellectual property, and increased exports," she added.
Ms Foster concluded that the move raises Northern Ireland's profile as a centre of excellence for the production of high-performance software.
In other jobs news, Medical Laboratory World reported this week that around 170 new jobs will be created by Merck Sharpe and Dohme's expansion to a new 200 million (£162 million) research facility in Carlow.
The organisation is the world's seventh-largest pharmaceutical group.
