The Listening Centre is planning to create up to 500 jobs on Tyneside.
With its new call centre set to open next month, it is searching for an initial 470 staff to deal with phone, email and internet enquiries for large firms including Sky.
The company is searching for customer service, sales advisers, management, training and recruitment staff for the centre in St James Gate in Newcastle.
It is also planning to recruit a further 500 staff within the first six months of the call centre opening to expand operations.
Philip Shuldham-Legh, director of communications for the Listening Centre, told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle it was "all systems go".
"We're initially creating 500 jobs but we have got the option to take an additional floor to raise that to about 1,000," he added.
"We're a growing business and were really excited about tapping into Newcastle."
The opening of the Listening Centre's new premises follows a report by the Hartlepool Mail that local firm Respondez attracted clients to its stand at the Call Centre Expo with a Nintendo Wii bowling game.
