A manufacturer in Northern Ireland is likely to need more employees in the electronics field after winning a new contract.
Schrader Electronics, based in Antrim, has won an agreement to produce tyre pressure monitoring systems for Mitsubishi. Starting in April next year, the contract will run until 2011.
Managing director Stephen McClelland commented on the development, saying the pact can be added to their already notable list of firms.
"We already supply an impressive list of car companies and to achieve this re-sourcing to one of the market leading vehicle manufacturers is great news for our company," he said.
He added that the deal proves the business is delivering the right products and customer service.
The firm employs 800 people in the province already.
Schrader Electronics recently won the prestigious title of Business of the Year at the Belfast Telegraph Northern Ireland Business Awards 2007. The firm was also winner of the Excellence in Exporting Achievement award.
