Shepherd's Bush development 'to double its workers'

It has been announced that the number of construction workers on the London Westfield project could be set to double to 5,000.
The Evening Standard reports that new workers are being introduced onto the site of the £1.6 billion, 46-acre shopping centre, with less than 100 days remaining until the development is set to open its doors to the public.
Westfield claims that 92 per cent of the retail space in the centre has now been let and a recruitment day for retail jobs within the centre attracted over 3,000 interested people.
The development in Shepherd's Bush will be the third largest shopping centre in the UK when it opens.
Property Week recently reported that large retail chains such as Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and Next have signed up to Westfield's new retail development in Bradford.
