Audit and Accounts Senior - ACA, ACCA Stevenage, Hertfordshire c£40k DOE Our client provides a full range of accountancy, audit and tax services to companies, partnerships, sole traders and individuals. They currently seek to recruit an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Stevenage. The Audit and Accounts Senior will produce accurate and reliable accounts for clients, and will be able to interpret and discuss those accounts with clients. You will also prepare corporation tax and business tax computations. The Audit and Accounts Senior will be familiar with all aspects of auditing, and will be required to have experience of carrying out audits of companies with turnovers above £6.5m as well as the preparation of the accounts of sole traders and partnerships. The successful applicant will be a chartered or certified accountant with experience within the profession. You will need to be familiar with software packages such as MYOB, Quickbooks, Sage, Viztopia and Pegasus. You will also require familiarity with VAT and payroll procedures such as P11D and year end returns, together with the routine matters that arise during a PAYE and NI inspection. The ideal candidate for this role will have solid experience in a small to medium size accountancy practice and will be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
