Stock Controller

Our multinational Client requires a Stock Controller to purchase products for the warehouse as required. Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager the Stock Controller is required also to ensure that out of stocks do not occur and keep stock levels to a minimum. Qualifications/Experience Required: 1. A good level of knowledge retail products, with a proven track record in supply chain/stock control. 2. Computer literate with keyboard skills. 3. Attitude & Personality - Adaptable, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic with an open minded approach. 4. Educated to A level standard or equivalent 5. Willingness to work together in a team and help others 6. Positive and pro-active attitude to changing demands and priorities as required 7. Good communication skills 8. Able to set own priorities Key Performance Measures: 1. Stock levels against target 2. In stock position against targets 3. To ensure orders placed are brought forward where necessary to maintain in stock position on range lines and promotional lines 4. Prompt and constructive response to issues arising Specific Responsibilities and Activities: To input data regarding new product onto the computer system and to distribute new product to the relevant branches. Set up procedures for new products, ongoing products and supplier files must be accurate and be maintained with up to date information To provide information and work with the buying team on promotional lines within agreed deadlines to ensure that the promotion is
