We act in conjunction with another recruitment company on this assignment whose client deals with commercial and industrial flat roofing and waterproofing solutions covering every corner of the United Kingdom. They design and install bituminous membranes (felt), polymeric single ply, roof gardens (green roofing), liquid waterproofing, metal decking, composite decking and roof lights. They are seeking a Contracts Manager for their Contracts Division. Reporting into the Contracts Director the successful candidate will manage site staff safely, efficiently and proactively including labour recruitment as necessary to complete projects within programme and keep labour amounts within budget. You will ensure the correct implementation and adherence of general roofing procedures and codes of practice to ensure client satisfaction and successful completion and will ensure correct interpretation of client/in house drawings and installation by operatives in line with drawings issued. You will encourage increased company growth via repeat business, developing relationships with new and existing clients. You will effectively multi project manage each project in your portfolio within allocated budgets and will maintain and develop cost engineering within our clients company structure and actively increase company profits.
