Controls Loading Engineer

We are hiring Engineers within the Flight Simulation industry to design, code, integrate and test Control Loading models and systems, onto primarily new build commercial aircraft simulators and training devices, as part of a Multi-disciplinary team. Typical Control Loading Systems include: Wheel (Ailerons), Column (Elevator), Pedals (Rudder), Tiller (Nosewheel), Stabiliser Trim, Toe Brakes, Throttles. The following skills are required to work as part of this exciting team: Essential - Mathematical modelling, programming in C working with Unix & NT. Knowledge of Aircraft Systems and educated to degree level or equivalent. Desirable - Knowledge of Test & Integration of Software/Hardware systems and ideally of engineering simulation industry. Programming in Fortran would be an advantage. The company is a global provider of Simulation and Training systems covering customers from civil aviation, military, energy and entertainment industries. They are located near Gatwick airport and will require candidates to work from this location as well as having the opportunity to travel to international customers for 6-10 weeks during implementation on an approximate annual basis. Salary ranges £25k-35k + excellent benefits + career opportunities.
