Night Shift Supervisor

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly developing department and will have excellent prospects for the right applicant, and will have ample opportunities to further develop their career within this company based in Middlesex. Day-to-day responsibilities/duties will include: Management development and supervision of Operations staff; Supervision of night drivers ensuring that all Operations and transport night functions are fulfilled; All export and import functions; GEMS Customs Entries; POD confirmation; Client liaison; Client Manifesting; HAWB entry/information verification; All other adhoc operational functions; Dangerous Goods; Driving duties as required. You will be required to work the following rotational shift: Early Shift 20.00-05.00/Late Shift 23.00 08.00. Due to the nature of the business, a flexible approach to working hours is essential within this demanding role. Applicants will ideally have a background in freight forwarding/courier operations and have experience working with clients from the pharmaceutical industry and dealing with time-critical shipments.
