Group Technical Purchasing Manager

Our Client is a multi-national food logistics and facilities provider providing food logistics, catering, fm and retail services across The Middle East, Africa and Near Asia. They are currently seeking a Group Technical Purchasing Manager to be based at their Regional Service Centre in Dubai. The successful candidate will manage our clients technical purchasing cells in Dubai, Kabul, Kandahar and Africa by co-ordinating all technical purchases and getting the right equipment and materials at competitive prices. They will direct and coordinate the procurement, warehouse, development of inventory control, and distribution of various products or other related services. They will oversee the writing, review, awarding and negotiating purchase agreements of various kinds plus the completion of complex purchasing projects. Oversee the provision of procurement expertise to meet the needs of the business; perform advanced research on market trends, market forces, pricing, supply problems, and develop and screen complex product specifications in order to make purchasing decisions; give direction and guidance to management, staff, and vendors on policies, regulations, and procedures; make purchasing decisions critically impacting the financial viability of the business. They will ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc and will carry out reviews and/or inspect work for quality, accuracy
