This company is a world leader in the design and manufacture of a broad range of customised RF, microwave and millimetre wave components and subsystems. The company's products are used in wireless communication equipment, electronic defence systems, and point-to-point communication systems. A vacancy currently exists within the Facilities department for a Site Electrical Engineer. Main responsibilities for this role will be: Plan, development and maintenance of new and existing electrical installations on site, ranging from 11,000v down to 100v systems. Procurement. Assist to solve electrical problems in a timely and effective way. Produce maintenance schedules and manuals as necessary and approve these and other key technical documents for use within the department. Provide technical data and documentation require for the preparation of proposals. Produce and update simple schematic drawings and schedules and plat drawings related to electrical items of plant, HV and LV on site whilst maintaining Health & Safety at all times. Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor contractors/vendors work on site. Assist in the commissioning of plant with process and commissioning engineers. Ensure stable supply of services. Deal with plant problems and emergency breakdowns as they occur. The successful candidate will have an HNC or Degree in Electrical Engineering together with 16th Edition Wiring Regs and be able to satisfy the following requirements: Experience of working on LV/HV
