Our Client one of the most successful companies in its field and have an extensive portfolio of both public and private sector customers and is a preferred supplier of central Government contracts, providing bespoke training and support to people returning to work and workforce development. Due to continued growth our client requires a Placement Officer/Outreach Worker to work in the Merseyside area focusing on the LSC Employability contract. The Role involves: Generate programme starts for the LSC Employability Programme from a variety of referral points. Market the programme to local Jobcentre Plus offices, local providers and other referral organisations. Liaise with placement providers and monitor customer placements on a regular basis to ensure they remain suitable. Tracking of customer outcomes. Assisting Skills for Life tutors with Employability qualification targets and portfolio building. Ensure that all contractual targets are met and will be expected to measure sustainability. The individual will be able to motivate people and provide support working with clients from a varied background and be adaptable and flexible with a positive attitude and approach. The following are desirable: A working knowledge of the local community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will have: Strong presentation skills.
