Surrey based Korean newspaper require an experienced Editor to take control of the editorial function of our publication. The duties will include selecting the leading story provided by the journalists, designing and organising the layout, proof read the manuscript before being sent to the printers and then re-checking before it goes to the public. Recruiting talented writers to provide material for the newspaper, managing the newspapers' image, direction and content, managing the advertisers to maximise revenue, participating in meetings with senior management, resolve copywrite issues, recruitment and training of staff, manage the content of our Internet site and contract negotiation particularly for suppliers and freelancers. Candidates should have a degree level education with extensive experience working as an Editor, be fluent in Korean language and have good computer literacy. Salary circa £25k.
