IT Support Analyst - Merthyr, Tydfil Wales. IT Support analyst with strong knowledge of Windows 2003 is required to provide 1st and 2nd line support for a company in Merthyr Tydfil. Candidates can expect a salary of up to £18k. Key Duties: 1. Manages the help desk operation. 2. Manages the identification and resolution of program, machine, data or system software problems and maintenance. 3. Third party liaison where applicable. 4. Consumable inventory control 5. Security of infrastructure (Server/Workstation security etc) 6. Manages defective & superseded equipment creating plans for disposal taking into account Penn environmental policies.
