Our client, a global industrial leader with European HQ based in the French speaking part if Switzerland is currently looking to hire on a permanent basis its: European Telecom Manager French/English speaker Overview This role, while it is a regional position, is an integral part of the Global Telco team. The immediate manager is resident in another region, so a high degree of autonomy is essential to this position. The person must be a self-starter who is able to work as part of a global team that extends across four different regions; an ability to work across cultural and geographical boundaries is paramount to the success of this role. Summary This position is a senior member of the Networks & Telecommunications team and takes strategic direction from the Global Director, Networks & Telecommunications. This position (under the direction of the Global Manager, Data Networks and Global Manager Perimeter security and technologies) is accountable for the day-to-day operation of telecommunications services and infrastructure in our client s European region. This person is operationally responsible for the management of the Networks staff in Europe. This position will be required to report progress of projects through to the Global Managers for Data Networks and Perimeter Security and will be responsible for managing a small team of professionals resident in the European Head Office. This person will need to have regular meetings with Business Information Managers and other key
