Test Analyst/Test Developer

Our client who is a Web based company based in London is looking for a Tester Developer/Test Analyst. You role will be to improve the overall quality through testing techniques, decrease the amount of manual testing conducted through automation. Ensuring scheduled releases are tested and released on time, adopt a risk-based testing approach for all testing activities undertaken. Key duties 1. Through testing, ensure that no medium to high severity defects exist on the site and associated Web applications. 2. Prioritise testing effort through a risk-based methodology assessing business impact and probability of defects occurring. This is to ensure release timescales are met. 3. To write effective reusable test cases and test plans based both on functional (or minimal) documentation. 4. Responsible for system and regression test phases. 5. Conduct effective defect management, including logging, prioritising and provide reporting. 6. Contribute to the overall test automation framework, integrating Selenium and QuickTest Pro into the test life cycle. 7. Working with Project Management, User Experience, and business teams to review project documentation (static testing) and provide feedback and accurate QA estimations. 8. Confident and articulate communication skills and ability to interact appropriately at all levels. 9. Ensure associated Web applications are robust, scalable and can handle required capacity through performance testing (Loadrunner). 10. Effectively test within an
