Sales Manager - LondonPermanent
Sales Manager, London - £26k + commission (uncapped) for paper merchant selling publication paper grades to magazine publishers, holiday companies, retailers/corporate & printers. You will need proven experience in a B2B sales role with proven success in generating new business by phone or face to face. Experience of managing long sales cycles. Experience selling products to end users ideally anyone who prints their own literature/brochures/catalogues, etc. Experience of paper and print is useful but not essential. The prime responsibility will be to develop relationships with prospects with a view to converting them to buying customers. To generate new sales leads either by following up contacts made through direct marketing campaigns, or through direct sales efforts. The Sales Manager will be able to evaluate options for each prospect and make use of the inside sales team, and coordinating with the Sales Director. As prospective customers are turned into live customers the Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales conversion, once an account has been established the Customer Service Manager will manage the account. Our client is focussing on the end users, corporate and travel sectors. The role will be based at our London office and will target potential customers in and around London. There will be occasional requirements for outside visits to customers, printers, warehouse and exhibitions. For the purposes of training there will be an occasional need to travel to
