Fleet Manager £40k + Benefits Chatham, Sevenoaks, Tilbury, Dartford, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford/Kent 6570*AM Our national client seeks an individual to take on the responsibly of their multi vehicle fleet, including PSV, HGV and plant. They are seeking an individual to have full responsibly for creating and maintaining an effective and efficient group transport operation. Manage the day to day transport requirements of a busy operation. Effectively manage transport scheduling and fleet utilisation. Manage and develop a cohesive and well co-ordinated transport service, promoting value for money and excellence in service provision, using internal and external resources as appropriate. Pro-actively manages relationship with external suppliers to Group fleet operations (eg leasing companies, fuel card provider, insurance, maintenance). Reviews and monitors all maintenance and service providers. Communicate at all levels within the Group in order to ensure effective two-way communication regarding all transport initiatives and issues. The ideal candidate will have a Fleet Management background together with knowledge of transport operations and IT systems. CPC is also required for this role.
