Travel Consultant A small and friendly Tour Operator, with an excellent support network are looking for a Travel Consultant to join their excellent team due to their expanding business to help promote their wide portfolio of holidays. Your responsibilities will see you offering advice to clients in a professional and polite manner, which will aid you in maximise sales on every possible call in line with monthly targets and conversions and booking all aspects of the clients holiday in FSS booking system. You will also be required to create tailor-made itineraries and quotations. As it is a relatively small team you will also be getting involved in other aspects of Tour Operating, so you will also be Proof reading brochures and advertisements, and meeting clients and suppliers at Trade Shows and other industry events. You will be also expected to contact suppliers via fax, e-mail, Internet and Amadeus to secure all aspects of the booking, and ensure that the trip runs operationally smoothly by liaising with Product and Operations to ensure clients needs are met. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, being motivated and ambitious, with the ability to meet targets and deadlines and organisational skills.
