Import Logistics Assistant
Permanent
Working in a small team within our Logistics Warehouse in Middlesex, this role requires a self starter who will be responsible for the Importation of products and the processing of return shipments from customers throughout the EMEA region. Main duties include: Manage inbound shipment data and process onto company systems; Receipt of freight arrivals through our SAP and WMS system; Maintain relationship with Import broker; Check and approve invoices against agreed tariffs; The Receipt and checking of return shipments (RMA); Processing onto company systems in timely manner; Ensure close working relationship with both operations and sales teams; Maintain accurate records providing detailed reports; Arrange shipments for testing or return to customer; Process credit note after authorisation; In addition you should be prepared to assist within the Logistics warehouse when necessary. This company requires a diligent person who must demonstrate attention to detail and have the ability to work under their own initiative in a busy and occasionally pressured environment. Essential Skills: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, an understanding of Import procedures and knowledge of SAP and WMS would be a definite advantage.
