Travel Agency Sales Manager London £25K - £29K An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Travel Agency Sales Manager to win new clients and increase business from existing tour Operator within designated territory/agency base. Key Responsibilities: Identifying potential new travel agents and pursuing opportunity until customer is signed up and producing bookings, including customer training Providing support to agents for product requirements, promotions etc with the assistance of sales support, marketing, pricing and sourcing departments Maintain awareness of changes to the companies systems, products and policies, ensuring agents are kept up to date with these. Also maintain and report knowledge of competitor activity and systems/products Reporting on sales activity/results/pipeline as required Escalation point for customer service, finance and technology issues with agents Reviewing customer base and proposing sales strategy for their territory Providing sales forecasts and commercial proposals for customers in territory as required The ideal candidate will have previous business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a travel or leisure industry and ideally in agency sales within the hospitality or travel distribution industries.
