Service Logistics Co-OrdinatorPermanent
Based in Slough, this Service Logistics Co-ordinator role will involve: Provide customers with quotations for any Out of Warranty parts repairs and validating received customer Purchase orders and providing service on receipt; Prioritise process, communicate and follow up DOA (Dead on Arrival) replacement orders to the Operations warehouse for same day shipment to DOA installation; Coordinate and document the assembly of faulty parts for weekly return to International repair vendors; Review inventory status and issue shortage reports as required; Work together with and provide cover for the Inventory and Distribution Coordinator and the Specialist Coordinator; Provide support as necessary and required directly to the Services Logistics Ops Manager; etc. Experience/Qualifications: Educated to minimum GCSE A level standard and/preferably advanced or degree qualifications in Business Administration or similar area or equivalent experience. Essential Skills Required: Excellent verbal and written communicator; Commitment to providing quality service; Ability to learn quickly; Good attention to detail; Work well under pressure; Experience of using MS Office applications particularly Excel and Word; Good organisational skills; Previous experience and aptitude utilising CRM and ERP systems; Ability to interface effectively on a Global basis; Previous experience of a High Tech logistics environment; Order processing and some experience or knowledge of inventory control/planning; Team
