HR Manager - Furniture Retailer NOTE - ideally the successful candidate will be based in the Birmingham area - however, extensive, regular travel is required to the Grays/Essex area, therefore we are also willing to look at applications from people in this area, who are willing to travel to Birmingham on a regular basis. Our client is the largest furniture specialist in the UK with over 150 stores nationwide, providing a choice of quality products at value prices. They deliver not only a quality product but the service to go with it. Job Role - HR Manager: They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to work in direct partnership with the Logistics Division and Central Support Managers to develop and implement people related strategies and initiatives to drive and improve business performance. Preferably CIPD qualified with previous experience of working in a warehousing and distribution environment. A practical, commercially focused individual with a can do' mentality and high levels of energy to deliver excellent results. The successful candidate will be required to travel across the country visiting numerous Distribution Centres developing and implementing corporate values and behaviours to develop a high performance culture. Key Attributes - HR Manager: - Management level generalist - A good grasp of UK Employment Legislation and it's practical application - Experience of developing and implementing people focused initiatives/strategies across a multi site logistics
