Training And Development OfficerPermanent
JOB PURPOSE: To work within the Human Resources department t o deliver training and provide training & development advice and support to all members of the Firm. KEY TASKS/JOB RESPONSIBILITIES To work with the HR Manager and T&D Executive in planning, designing and delivering training for the firm as a whole, departments and individuals To work with the T&D Executive to asses relevant training needs for the firm as a whole, departments and individuals To work with the T&D Executive to manage the entire new starter training function (HR Induction, IT Training, Money Laundering etc) Compile a monthly training activity report for the HR Manager to deliver to the Management Team Update HR Unit monthly with information on training spend To work within annual training budgets Course design and delivery (as appropriate) To monitor and measure effectiveness of training Maintain training records Any other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time. KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Proper working knowledge of the English language, grammar and punctuation, the formatting of documents and correspondence. Ability to communicate with staff of all levels Effective presentation skills A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and the Department s personnel database Knowledge of department procedures and processes especially those relating to training General knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the training cycle.
