Job Details| Electrician - 16th Edition/Iraq | Contract | | Our Client was formed in 1992 from a requirement to provide UK MOD Defence Estates with a multi disciplined facilities management service. Today our client employs over 1200 people and provides its customers with a single source FM solution which provides results quickly and without undue complication, anywhere in the world. Our client is seeking a fully qualified Electrician to 16th Edition for its site at Basrah Airport, Southern Iraq. This position is based at the UK MOD site at Basrah Airport and the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical duties that emerge at this UK military camp. Knowledge and Skills: The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician to 16th Edition (preferably with a JIB Card) and ideally have experience of planned/reactive maintenance. You will have experience of PPM, fault finding and repair of a variety of both domestic and industrial equipment. A pre-requisite for this position is candidates must be qualified to 16th Edition and possess the 16th Edition Inspection & Testing Certificate. Experience of working in post conflict, remote sites or in other arduous environments would be ideal. You should possess excellent communication skills in English and be able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
