Business Development Manager, Large Corporate Banking

We are working on behalf of one of the Top Clearing Banks in the UK to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their Larger Corporate lending team in Leeds.You will be working alongside a Senior Relationship Director managing a niche portfolio of clients with turnovers in excess of £25m, where you will assist in the generation of business to expand the ever growing portfolio. You will support the senior director in management of the existing client base to ensure full coverage and service is achieved. You will also continually work to develop new business leads which will be done by establishing a contact network of professionals in the market place such as Accountants, Solicitors and Finance Brokers to gain business referrals from them. You will also have some responsibility for cross selling the Bank's products to existing customers in the portfolio, as well as assisting with putting together credit lending applications. The ideal candidate will have previous relationship/sales banking experience from either a commercial or corporate banking environment, and will have already started to develop their own network of contacts, alongside some strong credit skills.
