Admin Assistant (Buying Dept)

We are currently looking to recruit a Buying Assistant to work within our busy Trading Department. Your main objective will be to carry out administrative duties supporting the Category Manager and Buyers. Key responsibilities include; Updating product sales consisting of data entry and collating various weekly reports. You will be responsible for updating price changes, carry out barcode maintenance and new line forms. You will be involved in updating bulletins and promotional briefs as well as dealing telephone enquires, both internal and external alongside assisting in improving supplies. The ideal candidate will be required to maintain the highest standard of customer service and communication skills at all times, as well as being able to demonstrate a well organised manner, being methodical, accurate and able to cope under pressure. The work will include collating various spreadsheets so a high degree of competency in Excel will be essential. Working within a Buying Department would be advantageous, but not essential.
