This is a permanent position as senior member of the Networks & Telecommunications team. You will take strategic direction from the Global Director, Networks & Telecommunications. This is a senior technical/team leader position that has responsibilities in the telecommunications infrastructure area. Responsible for managing the European Telecommunications staff including setting priorities and staff mentoring. Responsible for the performance of the voice and data networks/infrastructure as the delivery vehicle for applications to our client s sites in Europe.Managing the budgets and budgeting process for Europe including both the Operating and Capital budgets. This position (under the direction of the Global Manager, Data Networks and Global Manager Perimeter security and technologies) is accountable for the day-to-day operation of telecommunications services and infrastructure in our clients European region. This person is operationally responsible for the management of the Networks staff in Europe.This position will be required to report progress of projects through to the Global Managers for Data Networks and Perimeter Security and will be responsible for managing a small team of professionals resident in the European Head Office. This person will need to have regular meetings with Business Information Managers and other key technical managers.
