Electronics Engineer Instrumentation Oxford £25k - £32k + pension Small, but very well established instrumentation company with a track record of continuous growth and profitability are seeking an electronics engineer/development engineer/R+D engineer to assist in their future plans. This is a generalist role, and would suit an engineer with a wide skill base, or looking to aquire the same, together with a pragmatic approach to the design, verification, approval and manufacturing of small batch electronics for a niche market. Your main duties will involve: Assist and direct electronics design activities for new products and development of existing product lines. Verification and validation of new designs, both hardware and software. Product approvals, CE marking, regulatory compliance. Writing of manufacturing and test documentation. Liaison with third party electronics manufacturers Failure investigations - determining corrective actions in design or supply chain Does this sound like a lot of responsibility? It should! Background they would like to see from candidates would be: HND/Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering Design/Test/Manufacturing experience Exposure to tight product regulatory environment - automotive, aerospace, medical Mix of hardware/firmware/software skills, possibly audio electronics, PC instrument control Pragmatic, responsible and determined personality, a good communicator and achiever If this role sounds like it would meet your requirements
