Location: Exeter Reports to: Software Development Manager (UK) Working in a senior role within an integrated and multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for analysing, designing and implementing high quality solutions for digital media. You will work with clients and colleagues on projects involving information systems, video-on-demand, E-commerce, M-commerce and E-banking systems, digital tv, iptv, mobile and Internet platforms Duties and Responsibilities Analysis, design and development of interactive solutions for information systems, video-on-demand, E-commerce, M-commerce and E-banking systems accessed via interactive digital tv, iptv, mobile and Internet. Liaison with client, other Designer and developers. Liaison with other project team members - technical and project management. Core Skills Practical commercial applications development experience covering the entire project life cycle from requirements analysis to acceptance testing and support. Degree-qualified, or significant (eg 8+ years) experience of implementing applications development Java, preferably within a distributed systems background. Spring Framework SQL database experience. Object Oriented Design experience (working in UML is especially valuable). Self motivated, with a proven track record for personal development. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to present concepts to the client and other members of the project team and prepare quality documentation. Desirable Skills Interactive TV
