Mechanical Engineer (Conveyor Systems)
Contract
Mechanical Engineer - £25 per Hour, 6 month contract min. The company are a research and development company who design bespoke conveyor systems. They are specialists within the field of nuclear and aviation solutions. The group itself started nearly 50 years ago and they take on projects worth up to £35 million. They are looking to maintain growth through the development of existing relationships and taking on new contracts. What the company will offer the successful candidate: Competitive hourly rates. Autonomous working attitude. An understanding of mechanical design from concept to completion. Experience in the concept design of conveyor systems. Good communication skills as site surveys will be required. What the role will involve: An element of project management. You will be required to come up technical specifications, procurement and taking through to manufacture. Mechanical design from concept to completion using AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk inventor. Visit to customer sites to carry out site surveys. Building relationships with customers. Ability to understand customers needs, and identify solutions to meet customer demands.
