Multinational defence organisation that provide a complete range of optronic products, systems and services to government and commercial customers across the globe, And who have a presence on all the major international defence programmes, providing key detection and surveillance solutions and support to air, naval and land forces. Currently seek to employ several highly skilled Mechanical Engineers at the state of the art site in Glasgow. You will ideally have a strong know ledge base of the following desirable attributes: Carry out Mechanical design and development of components and subassemblies including 3D CAD, calculations, and FE analysis. Work to project plans on tasks defined by Programme Manager. Work in multidiscipline teams with other engineers. Assist in building prototypes and carry out testing to prove compliance with specification. A degree within mechanical engineering and or Chartered membership of ImechE would be would also be desirable. Due to the number of positions available the salary range is from 28k to 48k plus benefits. You will need to be willing and able to gain Secret security clearance.
