Recognised by most as a top 5 business within its sector this out-of-town retailer is continuing to grow and has exciting short and medium term plans. Many of their stores have undergone refurbishment and the business as a whole has sharpened and improved both its overall image and its product offer in particular. This is a challenging period of positive change for the company and an exciting time to consider joining the buying team. The role is principally concerned with providing full administrative support to the buying team, liaising with suppliers and line management to ensure the smooth running of the department. Interested candidates will be enthusiastic, numerate and analytical self-starters looking for their first position within retail buying. Of graduate calibre and ideally some commercial experience candidates can then look to build on their skills and will be encouraged to develop their career through in house training and external courses.
