My client, a large market research company is looking for a developer who has had at least 2-3 years experience within a Client Server Web environment. Please read through the below specification and send me through your CV to be considered for the position. Key Purpose/Objective of Role: To develop, maintain & modify internal applications by performing a variety of programming assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements. Work closely with the Marketing department with any developmental work or content changes to the corporate Website. Key Responsibilities: Provide 3rd line support for all internal Web applications Maintain & modify applications by making approved coding changes Support & develop the client-facing Website Draw up requirement analysis for proposed new developments Develop any new internal Web applications Test and troubleshoot programming modifications Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls Provide cost estimates of change requests Write and maintain programming documentation Maintain security & access rights to confidential data Skills and Experience Required: 2 years development experience gained in Client Server Web environment A detailed working knowledge of Visual Basic, ASP & .NET technologies Strong SQL Server query skills A broad technical skill
