Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is currently recruiting a Sales Manager to join its Cork based team in a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation which is at start up stage in Ireland. With a large employee base world wide, this company continues to grow by providing high quality pharmaceutical products with involvement from development right through to sales. Role/Responsibilities: Represent the company to relevant Health professionals in a manner that contributes to the establishment and long term growth of the company. To lead and manage a team of sales representatives towards the delivery of sales and margin objectives. Working closely with the local Management Team, input into the development and implementation of the company's retail, hospital and doctor business plan. Establish effective relationships with a broad range of contacts across the designated key and target accounts and distribution partners as agreed with the Management Develop and implement effective in call sales strategies to enable effective account development of the company's business potential in target accounts. Input into and implementation of operational plans Provide effective market feedback. Skills/Experience: Leadership skills with a minimum of 4 years field sales or product management experience in the Healthcare industry (generics, brand, OTC). Evidence of coaching and development of teams and individuals.
