Sales Manager, Public Sector For A Major UK Telco - Location FlexiblePermanent
Sales Manager, Public Sector for a major UK telecommunications company - UK location flexible Outline the main function of the role; examples would be - - To manage a Sales Team within the Public Sector vertical which maximises the revenues, margins and depth of relationship in that vertical. Role Responsibilities & Major Activities. (See note below) Manage the relationships the company has with the existing customers to maintain and develop existing revenues. Actively seek and promote new business opportunities to increase company revenues. Manage the contractual and commercial terms under which the company operates with respect to the customers in a manner which reduces risk to the company's ongoing operations, maximises revenue, promotes margin expansion and positions the company as a quality provider of telecommunications services in line with the company business plan. Build, manage and maintain a view of likely revenue and customer relationships that provides a degree of certainty of future revenue growth and assists the company in positioning itself against delivery of the business plan. Maintain accurate and timely information about the performance of the company s sales, the current status of contractual relationships with customer and future customer development opportunities. Maintain sufficient reporting mechanisms to provide reliable and tangible evidence of delivery. Maintain the company's sales strategy for this vertical sector. To be fully accountable for and
