We are currently recruiting for a Senior RF Electrical Engineer to work for a leading Aerospace company in Portsmouth.You will be working as a Lead Engineer, responsible for the planning, preparation, planning, development of the Electrical and RF test phases conducted during the build of this product. Primary base in Portsmouth with some National and International travel. You will interface with the design and systems engineers for test requirements, test methods, verification methodology and the Test Engineering Group for issues related to provision of Payload Test Equipment, test Software and results analysis tools. Progress reporting/planning with internal & external customers. The readiness of all operational procedures, test Software and related telemetry and telecomm and databases, test aids and test equipment in a timely manner to support the project schedule. The provision of all relevant data and support in the maintenance of verification matrices and test reports. Support the Go/No Go process and other Horizon initiatives. Participation in risk management. The Lead Engineer will also take responsibilities for raising non conformances, ensuring contribution to problem solving, implementation of investigations and corrective actions as detailed by the NRB. Interfacing with key test and validation engineering groups where necessary and actively participate in problem solving and resolution.
