A successful growing engineering consultancy creating hardware firmware and Embedded software to deliver leading-edge system solutions. In addition to a solid academic background (good A-levels and a minimum 2:1 in a numerate discipline from a respected university) you will need significant experience in some or all of the following areas (in no particular order): digital and analogue electronics RF and audio design PCB schematic design and layout VHDL development (eg multi-million gate FPGA solutions); Embedded code/systems (DSP networks communications). You will have the opportunity to mix technical challenges with customer-facing and project management tasks to give a wide variety of work on a day-to-day basis. This role is subject to security clearance by the UK defence vetting agency.
