Sales Manager. A Global Defence and Electronic Engineering Organisation is currently seeking a Sales Manager in Bristol. The key task will be to develop opportunities and win sales within: The Military and Commercial Satcom domain The IS Services business area building on existing identified opportunities and identifying a future sustainable pipeline that will achieve forecast sales and O.I. targets. Activities will include, but not be restricted to: Initiating and maintaining contact with customers, prospects and targets within the defined area of responsibility. Securing orders. Liaising with the business resources of the company to close sales and to ensure delivery of complete satisfaction to the customer. Developing the Organisations position and understanding of the market space. Ideally the Sales Manager will have background and experience in delivering services into the following domains: Milisatcam, Comsatcom Information networks and Systems Info Sec. Key technical competencies are: Systems or service sales, as distinct from product sales, Service architectures. A working knowledge of ITIL. The Sales Manager should demonstrate an ability to scope and qualify a relatively new service market segment, and to then quickly assimilate and utilise that technical and market knowledge. The Sales Manager should be able to demonstrate a track record of sales within an ITIL framework.
