MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEERS LED TECHNOLOGY NORTH YORKSHIRE Mechanical Design Engineers are now required at this leading company in LED Technology to be responsible for the design and development of the Mechanical features of this company's LED based product lines. This is a key role in the company and reporting to the Development Manager you will work as part of a team from product conception to successful operation in the hands of the customer. As Mechanical Design Engineer your responsibilities will include the design and development of new and revised products to support market needs. You will apply your knowledge regarding customer specifications as well as manage project timelines and product costs. You will undertake the modelling, design, and testing of mechanical systems for LED applications. You will also champion the development of innovative mechanical solutions utilising the latest technology while maintaining cost effective solutions. Working closely with electrical, optical, and manufacturing engineers you will bring quality product quickly to market. You will also work with outside suppliers to ensure the best solution for the products. You will be using computer assisted engineering and design software to perform design tasks. The successful candidate will be educated to ONC level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or in a relevant discipline and have strong experience in mechanical design. You will be an excellent team player with strong communication
