Positions: Marketing/Sales Executive Location: Knightsbridge (London) Salary: 28k- 30k basic + bonus Our client who is looking for a Marketing & Sales Executive is a research institute producing studies and reports on the oil and gas industry. These cover oil market analysis and oil demand, supply and price forecasting, country reports, regional reports, work on the futures markets etc. They also produce 3-4 conferences per year. The marketing/sales executive will be required to fulfil the following: Primary tasks: Systematically follow-up and sell to prospects who have been mailed and emailed for the current products Attend competitor events to promote the Centre and sell current studies and events places (exhibition space with have to paid for or negotiated on a reciprocal agreement basis by the sales/marketing executive Set up exhibitions at other events to promote the Centre and sell as above Visit clients as appropriate to sell current products Get new leads (contacts and companies) by data-base/Web research, initially for the new PPR service Bring new ideas to the our clients' sales and marketing effort Secondary tasks: Undertake market research for new products Undertake competitor analysis. Help update and enhance the Website Arrange media partners for future events (this would also promote the our clients' other products more widely) Secure sponsorship for the events. Grow and develop and new position to include marketing/selling all new studies as they are published
